In the pen you will find a goat walking around. From this area you can get into the goat pen by clicking the hand on the gate. Don't play with the goat until you first have a carrot from the carrot patch (F1 and F8). Once you do have a carrot, enter the goats pen and give the carrot to the goat. He will now follow you around.

Now, it's not too useful having a goat follow you all over the place. However, he will rid you of the toll guarding the bridges in B2, C3 and D2 that allow access to C2. The quickest way to the bridge from the pen is: Down, Left, Left, Left, Down.

NOTES

Don't open the goat pen and leave the screen without taking him with or closing the pen again or the goat will not be there if you return. The goat can't swim either, so it's not recommended you have him follow you into the water.
