This clearing displays two large rocks. Under the left most rock is a dagger. To get it, you must get behind (north of) the left most rock and use an action on the rock. This will push the rock out of the way. Don't be in front of the rock or it will roll over on top of you and end the game. In the hole beneath the rock is a dagger. You'll find his usefull in a number of places, and only need it for cutting the rope to the bucket in the well.
